Booking and Cancellation Terms - A Room to Breathe | Sonya Maree Kok | Tasmania Retreats
Published: 15 July 2026. These terms apply to all bookings made for A Room to Breathe, September 2026, and form part of our Terms of Use.

1. Securing Your Place
Your place is confirmed once payment is received, either in full or as the first instalment of a payment plan. The Early Bird Plan requires payment in full by 30 July 2026 to receive that rate.

2. Payment Plans
If you choose a 3-payment plan, all payments must be completed by 6 August 2026, our final payment and dietary form deadline. If a scheduled payment fails or is missed, we will contact you directly to resolve it. If payment is not completed by 6 August 2026, your place may be released in accordance with Section 5 below.

3. Cancelling Your Place

Before 6 August 2026: if you can no longer attend, the amount you have paid is held as credit toward a future Tasmania Retreats gathering. It is not refunded as cash, as your payment secures catering, accommodation, and facilitation that are booked and committed on your behalf. From 6 August 2026 onward: your booking is non-refundable and non-creditable, as costs are fully committed at this point. Your place remains transferable under Section 4.

4. Transferring Your Place
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your place to another woman at any time before the retreat begins, at no additional cost. Please contact us so we can update registration and dietary details for the new attendee.

5. Missed or Incomplete Payments
If a payment plan is not completed by 6 August 2026 and we have been unable to reach a resolution with you, your place may be released to make way for another attendee. Any amount already paid is held as credit toward a future Tasmania Retreats gathering.

6. If We Cancel the Retreat
In the unlikely event that Tasmania Retreats cancels A Room to Breathe, you will receive, at your choice, a full refund or a credit toward the next retreat.

7. Circumstances Beyond Our Control
If the retreat is unable to proceed due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including extreme weather or government restriction, we will offer a credit toward a future retreat where possible. Where costs have already been irrecoverably committed on your behalf, a full cash refund may not be possible.

8. Travel and Personal Insurance
Flights, transfers, and personal travel insurance to Tasmania are not included in your booking and remain your responsibility. We recommend taking out travel insurance that covers illness or unforeseen changes to your travel plans.

9. Dietary Requirements and Health
A dietary and health form will be sent to you after registration and must be completed and returned by 6 August 2026. This allows us to plan catering and support your needs properly, please return it promptly, as late disclosure may limit what we are able to accommodate. You must disclose any allergies or dietary requirements on this form. You are responsible for bringing any personal medications you require during the retreat. A first aid trained facilitator is present throughout.

10. House Rules
Our full retreat menu is 100% plant-based. Please let us know of any allergies via your dietary form so we can accommodate you within this menu. The retreat is alcohol-free, and smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere on the property.
